IBAN- International Bank Account Number
In accordance with Decision on Making and
Using IBAN (
International Bank Account Number), and by aiming at automatically processing payment orders to foreign
countries, Jadranska banka has assigned an IBAN to all its customers (legal and
physical).
IBAN represents a unique international identifying number of
customers' accounts with the Bank. The Croatian IBAN is
composed of 21 alphanumerical signs and
is constituted in accordance with the ISO 13616
International standard accepted by the European Commission
for Banking Standards.
In case they want to avoid additional costs and if they
wish to be sure
that a payment order is processed automatically,
customers are obliged to mention an IBAN on their payment
orders to foreign countries (Order 14).
On each statement of account on a payment operation carried
out, the Bank will cite to a customer an IBAN assigned
to him as well as the Bank's identification code-BIC.
