Useful tips
- Sign immediately Your MAESTRO/CIRRUS card at the
appropriate place, on the back of it.
- Write down the numbers of Your cards as well
as the
telephone numbers on which You can report theft or
their disappearance. Keep apart the numbers from
credit
cards.
- With Your card, You will be given a PIN secret
number which is used for withdrawing cash at ATMs or banks. Memorize your PIN number and do not keep it written
close Your credit card or on the card itself.
- At a point of sale during shopping, it is
obligatory that You make sure that an amount of money
spent is identical with the one debited to Your credit
card. Keep transactions receipts because they represent
a good way of controlling expenditures.
- We advise You not to keep cash and credit cards together,
at the same place.
- We also recommend not to keep a GSM device and
cards close to each other because there is a possibility
of erasing recorded data from the magnetic tape on
cards.
- Do not ever leave Your credit card unattended, especially
not at public places. Treat cards like cash.
- Cut an old, expired card so that magnetic
tape is cut and, then, destroy it physically.
