- Authorized money changers
Pursuant to Article 46 of Law on Foreign Exchange
Operations (O.G. 96/03), to Law on Changes and
Additions to Law on Foreign Exchange Operations (O.G.140/05) and
Decision on Conditions and Ways of Authorized
Changers' Performing Money Exchange Operations (O.G. 18/06),
Jadranska banka d.d. Šibenik carries out foreign
money exchange operations in cooperation with authorized money changers.
In their capacity
of authorized money exchangers, these
operations can be
managed by residents having a status of a legal person
as well as by entrepreneurs -individuals in
case they possess:
- A permit (in writing), issued by Croatian National Bank, to manage
foreign money exchange operations,
- A certified computer programme for managing
authorized foreign money exchange operations,
- A contract with the Bank on performing this type of activity,
A necessary precondition for stipulating a
contract with the Bank on performing foreign money exchange
operation is complying with laws
regulations for opening a foreign money exchange office.
An insight into whether or not foreign exchange regulations
are respected is carried
out by the Bank's controller.
He makes an Inspection Report based on which a contract on performing foreign
money
exchange operations is made between the Bank and the authorized
money changer.
- Physical persons
Domestic and foreign physical persons can perform the operations
of sale and purchase of currencies at counters of the Bank's
head
office and at all its branch-offices.
