Domestic and foreign physical persons, who realize income from artisan and other independent activities, i.e. artisanships, free-lance activities, author's fees, agriculture, renting immovable or moveable property and other operations initiated with an intention of realizing income in accordance with Income Tax Law, can open their giro accounts with Jadranska banka.
Funds on giro accounts are formed with cash
payments or money transfers from other physic or legal
persons.
The balance of account must always be positive ,
that is, you can make use of money only up to the balance of
your account.
With a permanent order, You can channel
funds on giro to other accounts opened with the
Bank, for example to a current account. Interest rates
on funds on giro accounts amount to 0.5% per annum and are changeable
in accordance with Bank's Decision on Interest Rates.
Opening a giro account
The Bank opens and manages giro accounts based on a
stipulated Contract
on Giro Account. For opening a giro account ,
the following documentation is required:
- An identification document (for a domestic physical
person an identity card or a passport, for foreign physical
persons a passport or a foreigners' identity card, as
well as a proof of
the place of sojourn).
- For physical persons-artisans, apart from identity
documents, it is necessary to present Decree on Artisanship
Registration and a Certificate of Artisanship.
The Bank informs citizen and legal persons on the
balance of giro accounts by sending statements of account,
if requested by our customers.
